Biogragphy

Doug Freeman is chief executive officer of IFF Advisors, Inc, a national financial consulting firm, with offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, and New York. Mr. Freeman provides strategic planning and organizational management advice for business, nonprofit, foundation, and family clients.

Mr. Freeman’s professional career includes establishing Freeman, Freeman & Smiley, a 50-attorney firm with locations in Los Angeles and Irvine. Currently Co-author of a leading treatise for family foundations, entitled A Founder’s Guide to the Family Foundation, published by the Council on Foundations, and author of Estate Tax Freeze: Tools and Techniques, originally published by Matthew Bender (1984), who is the former contributing editor to the Journal of Financial Services Professionals. Mr. Freeman has also written dozens of professional articles published in a variety of journals. He speaks throughout the country on behalf of professional associations, such as the Council on Foundations and the Association for Small Foundations.
